Arlen Specter Says He is Encouraging Constitutional Rights
Poor Arlen Specter. He just keeps getting yelled at. In a previous post, I showed a video where Specter was holding a town hall and was shouted at. It has happened to him again, but this time after being yelled at, he claims he is encouraging Constitutional rights. Really? I can’t think of any of the rights listed in the Constitution that he is encouraging by supporting the Democrat/Obama agenda.
Nowhere in the Constitution is Congress given the authority to control our health care. Article 1, section 8 lists all the powers of Congress. Health care is simply not there. This means, according to the 10th amendment, that health care is to be left to the states and the people. It seems to me that Specter is ignoring the Constitutional limitations of Congress by pushing Obamacare, not encouraging Constitutional rights. Maybe he thinks he is encouraging 1st amendment rights by letting the man speak and not accusing him of being un-American, racist, or a paid mobster as other Democrats surely would have? However, if this is the case, why hasn’t he been defending these protesters’ right to have a dissenting opinion all along? His own party has been attacking and demonizing fellow citizens for speaking out against a growing, all consuming government. Why isn’t he defending and encouraging those people’s Constitutional rights from members of his own party?
He took an oath of allegiance to the Constitution, as did all memebers of Congress, yet he and the rest of them continue to ignore this oath. The last line of the oath Specter took is, “I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.” Since many of our honorable members of Congress are no longer faithfully discharging the duties of their office it is time for us to discharge them from that office.

This shows the thinking of the left. Since they have no sense of reality or truth, the Constitution is an enigma to them.

First off, I want to know who the person is who pumps the formaldehyde into Specter to keep him going. Excellent work citing the oath to the Constitution, I am positive that they know longer remember saying those words. Well done FL.
