Now Protesters are Carrying Swastikas!?!? What Will the Liberals say Next?

If you are an ordinary American, who is angry at the government, and you dare to speak out at a town hall meeting, you must be a Nazi.  That’s what Nancy Pelosi thinks.  In the video footage I’ve seen from these town hall meetings, there are grandparents, soldiers, and blue collar workers in t-shirts and baseball caps angry at what their government is doing.  Nancy Pelosi must be watching some strange town halls because she said the people attending are wearing swastikas…

In my last post, I showed a quote from DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse, where he called the people speaking out at town halls “…rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.”  Where are these politicians getting their information?  Do the Democrats really think these Americans, who are speaking out at town halls, are being paid by lobbyists?  Do they really think that they are rabid extremists who are carrying swastikas?  Are these really honest observations or is this a tactic of a scared political party?

Obama’s poll numbers are steadily dropping.  According to the newest Rasmussen poll, only 49% of likely voters now at least somewhat approve of Obama, while 51% disapprove.  According to a Quinnipiac University poll, 72% of voters do not believe that Obama will keep his promise to overhaul the health care system without adding to the deficit.  The same poll also shows that only 21% of voters think the Obama health care plan will improve the quality of health care they recieve.  Democrats are losing the fight on health care, and they are starting to get desperate.  That’s why they are flinging wild accusations at Americans who are speaking out.  These are the tactics of a party that is getting desperate, and it will only serve to anger more Americans.  The American people are waking up to the consequences of the socialism that has been creeping into our republic for generations, and they are saying enough is enough!  Patrick Henry said, “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.”  Arm yourselves with knowledge of the Constitution and use it to restrain the socialism that our government is trying to push on us so we can once again have a society that promotes liberty!
