The left has a new insult to throw at people who do not support the government takeover of health care. They are racists who don’t like that we have a black President! Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, while speaking to Chris Mathews on Hardball, made the allegation that 45-65% of people protesting at town halls are racist.

Why is it so hard for the left to understand that many Americans do not want larger, more invasive and controlling government? Why is it so hard for them to understand that many Americans have had enough of the Constitution being ignored? It seems they can’t fathom the fact that many of us do not want the government to try and solve all of our problems. Not understanding the conservative view on government forces them to come up with reasons for a large segment of the population failing to fall head over heals for Obama and his policies. They assume that if someone disagrees, they must be a racist or are being payed off by the insurance companies because anyone in their right mind knows that Obama would never support something that wasn’t good for everyone.

This policy of making wild accusations towards anyone who disagrees is backfiring. It seems to be adding fuel to the fire with many protesters holding signs calling themselves the mob. It has also caused a rather embarrassing situation for Georgia Congressman David Scott. He started reciting the now standard Democrat accusations towards a man who stood up at a town hall meeting and asked some questions about health care. Rep. Scott accused the man of not being a constituent, not making an appointment with him to talk about health care, and trying to high-jack the event. It turns out that the man speaking is a Doctor who does live in Rep. Scott’s district and had made several attempts to schedule an appointment to meet with the Congressman to discuss health care. The Doctor had valid concerns about the health care bill and waited until there was an open Q&A segment of the town hall to ask his questions. Apparently his questions were not welcome.

Are we watching a resurgence of the conservative movement? Is the Democratic party losing control?

I hope this is the beginning of a conservative movement!

It seems like too many of our elected Democrats in power forget their constituents are ‘free’, bought and paid for by American blood. I think the power has gone to their heads and they are behaving like bullish snobs.

If the Left doesn’t know these allegations are retarded then they certainly are. I have been reading this line of thinking on more and more blogs so I guess it’s their new talking point. I think it will backfire too… afterall, were people racists during the Hillarykare debated on the early-90s?

  4. Liberty says:

I guess Hillarycare failed because people were feminists.
