"Obama's supposed mistress, Vera Baker"
When I checked the Drudge Report this morning, a headline caught my eye about an Obama cheating scandal. Naturally, I clicked on the link and read the article. The report claims that Obama is having an affair with a woman named Vera Baker. The story is being reported by the National Enquirer so of course it has no credibility on it’s own unless there is some verifiable evidence to support it, but it did get me thinking. During the 2008 campaign there were numerous comparisons made between Obama and John F. Kennedy and the late Sen. Ted Kennedy symbolically passed the torch of the Kennedy legacy to Obama. So if Obama is symbolically a Kennedy, shouldn’t we expect him to act like a Kennedy in his personal life? Is so, then we would have to expect Obama to have an affair and cheat on his wife. I hope for his wife and kids sake this story is just some made up tabloid garbage, but if it’s not, it would just add to the electoral mess the Democrats have been creating for themselves this November. Another Democratic President caught up in a sex scandal? I don’t know if our country could handle that right now.

Very true, they did break the Edwards story. It will be interesting to see if this story goes anywhere.

If it is true, then Obama has truly taken up the cause of the Kennedy’s.
I have no idea if this is true or not. But, if I were that attractive young lady, I’d hire security. It would not surprise me to see her someday “overdose on prescription pills” or something of that nature soon enough.

As a conservative who cannot stand the majority of his policies, I certainly hope it is not true.
It’s not becoming of the office (not to mention the vows he took) and it presents a security risk. If he is indeed in an affair, he most certainly can be bought in order to keep it secret.
The fact that NE is reporting this, actually does lend it creedance, in my mind.

Maybe it’s true. Maybe it’s not. Who knows? The Swiss news organization “Le Matin” claims to have seen incriminating videotapes from hotel serveillance cameras and juicy e-mail messages between Obama and Baker. If they exist, I suspect we have not seen them because of a backstage bidding war that is up into the $ millions by now.
One of my uncles was a conservative Republican and a devout evangelical Christian. He was like a second father to me when I was growing up. We spent a lot of time together, and I lived with him and my aunt every summer for a number of years. One of the things he drilled into me over and over again was that “the nigger race is fundamentally immoral in nature,” meaning that the propensity for doing wrong and evil things is in their genes. They just cannot help themselves or curb it, no matter how hard they might try and most do not even try. That was his specifically stated analysis.
Well, I never listened to the persistent counsel of my uncle. You guys know that. However, if this story turns out to be true, I think the far right will finally have in its grasp the “perfect tool” to bring down Obama and his administration. Certainly, I will no longer be able to look upon him with the same favor that I once did. The “birther” strategy flopped in the end. So boys, if this new one is true, I think your conservative compadres finally might have the country’s first nigger President cornered at long last. So, what is your next move on the chess board? A media lynching?

Are you implying that if Obama was white, then no one would be concerned about the President having a possible affair? What about Bill Clinton? I suppose you also believe that the only reason Tiger Woods infidelity was a big story is because he is black too? This racism charge from liberals has really reached the level of absurdity. Liberals can’t defend the actions of the Obama administration so they have to cry “Racism!” at every available opportunity.
Charles, may I remind you that the Democrat party tried to keep the civil rights act from passing. Before Kennedy introduced the bill Republicans had already introduced several of their own civil rights bills but the Democrat controlled congress kept voting them down. Kennedy started to worry that the Republicans would secure the black vote for generations because of their efforts to provide equal rights, so he introduced his own civil rights bill. The Democrats in the Senate were planning on filibustering the bill, but after Kennedy’s assassination, Johnson made passing a civil rights bill his top priority. The bill that eventually passed was very similar to an earlier Republican bill. If your political party had it’s way, blacks would still be drinking from separate water fountains. The rewriting of recent history by liberals has been an amazing accomplishment, but it is simply not true. Your party still has a former KKK member for a Senator!
I think the lefts obsession with calling conservatives racist (without a shred of evidence to back up the claim) is to cover up their insecurities about their own racist past. While the tactic is immoral and wrong, I have to admit that is was a brilliant political move and has been very successful in pulling the wool over the eyes of many peoples eyes.

While they may not have credibility on many issues, when it comes to political sex scandals they seem to know what they are doing. In addition to the Edwards scandal, they also broke the Clinton/Lewinski scandal.
Ditto on the National Enquire, breaking the Edwards scandle, and other.
If not them, then who? The lame street media wouldn’t report it, if they were in the Oval office, watching the horizontal bop.
