More Peaceloving Muslims

We have more evidence of how peace loving and nonviolent the religion of Islam is.  Yesterday, a Jewish family (2 parents and 3 children) was stabbed to death while sleeping in their home on the West Bank in Israel.  The al-Aqsa Martyr’s Brigade is claiming responsibility for the brutal murders.  While the Palestinian authority has condemned the attack, how have the Palestinian citizens reacted to the brutal murder of an innocent family? According to Y Net News, they are celebrating,

Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah hit the streets Saturday to celebrate the terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Itamar where five family members were murdered in their sleep, including three children.

Residents handed out candy and sweets, one resident saying the joy “is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank.”

This should tell you all you need to know about many of the “peaceful” Muslim residents of the West Bank and Gaza.  The very existence of a Jewish family in an area they claim is only for Palestinians, justifies breaking into the Jewish home in the middle of the night and stabbing them all to death.  Then, after killing them , they have a party to celebrate the murders.  How can people who claim to follow a religion of peace, be joyful over the killing of a family, children included, while they slept in their beds?

I’ve tried to see this from the standpoint of the Palestinians and I can not come up with a logical way to justify the killing of an entire family.  The Palestinians consider the Jews to be an occupying force, but Jews have been living there for well over 1000 years before the birth of Mohammad.  The Jews in that land have been occupied by the Babylonians, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans,  the Byzantines, the European Crusaders, and some Muslim nations just to name a few.  In fact, Muslims occupied Jews and started killing those who wouldn’t convert to Islam long before modern Israel occupied Palestinian territory

Before the forming of modern Israel, the Palestinians didn’t have a country of their own.  The Palestinians lived in the territory of Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon and didn’t see the need to kill their non-Palestinian neighbors because they were “occupiers”.  And likewise, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon weren’t being pressured to give up land so the Palestinians could have their own country.

Speaking of land, the land the Palestinians are so offended to have Jews living in is territory that Israel gained after defeating several Muslim nations that started an unprovoked war.  If Israel’s Muslim neighbors had not started a war in an attempt to wipe Israel off the map, the land the Palestinians claim as their own would not currently belong to Israel.  So… the reason there are Jews living in territory claimed by Muslim Palestinians is because Muslims started a violent war against Israel.  Israel won that war, gaining territory in the process, and now these same Muslims think that more violence will solve the problem that they themselves caused by being violent.

I don’t understand this mindset.  If committing violence against Israel caused you to have the problem you have now, why would more violence solve the problem?  And when is it ever OK to sneak into a house and murder an entire family just because you don’t think people from their ethnic group should be allowed to live in your neighborhood?  I guess it’s just another day in the life of peace loving Muslims.
