In his speech to the United Nations, President Obama said that America will always stand with those who stand up for their dignity and their rights, for voters demanding to be heard, for the innocent who demand to be free, and for the oppressed who yearn to be equal.  Really?  Is that what he did with Iran?  What about Honduras? Is this his new policy because he sure hasn’t been following it so far?

I believe Obama is actually taking advice from the few good advisors he has. Anyone with half a brain realizes the biggest reason Obama is losing popularity so quickly is his lack of honesty and failure to keep promises he made while campaigning. At this point Obama knows there is no will on Capitol hill to pass healthcare so he can say this knowing it’s a promise he won’t have to keep. I actually believe Schumer and friends want to insert the “public option” to keep Obamacare from passing. They know midterm elections are a year away and any vote on healthcare would provoke more town halls, tea parties and protests. The year before midterms tends to stall agendas as politicians are in campaign mode. This year in the senate much of the leftst democrat majority is up for reelection so they will be campaigning.

By the way thanks for stopping by our blog over at KOOK’s. On the weekends I tend to be less serious and talk about whatever is on my mind. I do lots of serious posting too and hope my comment from this morning hasn’t left you thinking I’m totally nuts.

For someone who says he won’t mess with the internal affairs of others he certainly does the opposite enough. Joe was right even if he was rude.
